Hollman Media site wins Associated Press Award
Kearney, NE - May 23, 2012 - Hollman Media, LLC, a Nebraska-based web and mobile applications developer, announced today that another one of its client's sites earned a first place finish for "best website" at the The Great Plains AP Broadcast Contest. The contest covered radio and television stations from Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
KNEB, which is part of Rural Radio Network launched the site, kneb.com, last Fall with the help of Hollman Media.
"Our sites have won awards in the past," said Travis Hollman, President of Hollman Media. "But developing this site was special because our whole company was involved in the process and it was such a large, complex project behind the scenes."
Bill Boyer, Director of Operations at KNEB said the site is a major part of the company's day-to-day operations.
"We get a lot of traffic and the site is updating dozens of times a day," said Boyer. "A lot of people depend on our site for area news. We couldn't be happier with the site and with the ongoing relationship we have with Hollman Media."
